small rocks they take less water and fertilizer

Rose rocks from Oklahoma, it is getting harder to find the ones with large petals. We had some around a fish pond along with many other types.

all you need is one male rock and one female rock, the rest will take care of itself, and grow into a beautiful “rock” garden.

My garden has some big, white, crystal type rocks and they look beautiful. They create a contrast and although they don’t look ‘natural’, they add a nice touch.

  5. NickN says:

I like many different colors and shapes. Put together from travels to different places. Can be a fun project collecting all the rocks to plant.

  6. nanny says:

My rocks are special, I bring them back from vacations – from all over the world. Therefore with different dna they won’t make little pebbles…

How is it that when you are clearing an area for a garden the native rocks bred and created more rocks than when you started clearing yesterday?

  7. Milou says:

We have picked up rocks from all over the country and got them in our rock garden, we have iron ore rocks from Mi. they shine so beautiful when the sun shines.

  8. Jim says:
