  1. I was always the rocker type and never really knew it. I would see that i was with things i liked but it wasn’t until i started listening to rock music that i really knew. then it hit me and i was thinking about things that had happened when i was younger and things i liked…etc. three days grace and 30 seconds to mars are the bands that helped me more than anyone. they really got me to open up and feel good. the kill is my fave song ever. i learn a lot from those two bands…adam, jared. idk what i would be doing without them. they saved me.

i relate big time to rock music. i don’t relate to pop and hip hop and all those types of genres.

I’m 19 and I listen to an awful lot of rock subgenres, although these days I’m mostly into post-punk/gothic rock.

A lot of the times, mostly in the past when I was a pre-teen though,my favorite musician’s lyrics and statements motivated me to explore aspects of human life, such as religion, politics, etc. So they did have a big influence on the way I think now.

  3. Rock Addict says:

I’m 19 and Rock has helped me thru my parents divorce and many custody battles, court appointed therapy sessions. Rock has given me freedom and stability that my parents never offered me. Rock is my life now I wanna make it a career as soon as possible.

  4. most probably has if not its helped me establish long hair at least. it all started with grunge way back when i was a young and impressionable youth with bands such as nirvana, alice in chains, faith no more, sound garden, stone temple pilots and the not so grunge metallica and rage. of course most people define there identity’s from there tastes in music, hobbies, life experiences ect this is who we are and what makes us unique. so yes music always has and always will be such a huge part of my life, its always there for you dude no matter what mood you are in, and is partly responsible for making me the messed up way i am today and to be honest i wouldn’t have it any other way.

  5. i listen to Guns N Roses, Motley crue, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, etc..
since im 14 many kids in my grade like miley or the jonas brothers or rap so since im the only girl my age that listens to this stuff other than 2 of my other friends who are girls im pretty much an “individual” just because of the music i listen to, not from my personality, wow that’s confusing =p

and i tried listening to those bands the other kids in my grade like but i just can’t. i mean if i was 6 sure i could but now that i have listened to GOOD artists all other lyrics by miley and Jonas Brothers seem pointless to me.
