My second attempt at covering Better be home soon by crowded house with my good guitar(no singing). A few duff notes and maybe wrong chords no doubt, but better than my first attempt.
Yeah I realised you must have meant the 4th finger not the 5th finger and the crowded house video was helpful also…. don’t they all look young in the video !!

I think you are correct about the fill part, I looked the better be home soon video and found the fill and it does seem to sound like you explained.

Actually meant 4th not 5th finger. Also look up the Crowded House video in the search using Crowded House – Better Be Home Soon. It won’t let me post a url here. The fill is around 0:38 to 0:40 in the video. This video also helped with my strumming.
Sounds pretty good. I was checking Justin’s tutorial for this. I think instead of doing an Fadd9 chord after the first G major, that this fill sounds right.
Strum a G chord using 3rd finger, 3rd fret, 6th string,2nd finger, 2nd fret, 5th string, and 5th finger 3rd fret, 1st string. On the upstrum hit the 1st and 2nd string, then the fill sounds like 4th string 2nd fret hammer to 4th string 3rd fret, then open 3rd string. Then switch to C chord.
